What is water hygiene monitoring?

Water hygiene monitoring is the routine programme of checks, inspections and tasks that keep your water systems safe between assessments. It puts your written scheme of control into practice, covering temperature monitoring, tap and outlet checks, showerhead cleaning and descaling, tank inspections and flushing of little-used outlets, all recorded to demonstrate ongoing compliance.

Our teams deliver planned monitoring in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274, tailored to the risk profile of your site. Every visit is documented in clear, auditable records, so you always have up-to-date evidence that control measures are being carried out and that any emerging issues are flagged and addressed quickly.
