Complii, one of the UK's leading providers of building safety and regulatory compliance services, announced the acquisition of White Lift Services Limited, an independent lift services business based in Leeds.

Founded in 1991, White Lift Services is an independent, family-run company providing lift servicing, maintenance, repair, modernisation and installation across Yorkshire and the North of England.

A dedicated team of engineers offers 24-hour support across passenger lifts, goods lifts, food hoists and stair lifts. The business holds membership of the Lift and Escalator Industry Association (LEIA) and SafeContractor accreditation, and over more than three decades has built a loyal regional customer base spanning property management, facilities management, care, education, healthcare, local authorities and commercial premises.

The acquisition strengthens Complii's Lifts and Escalators division, increasing scale and coverage in the North of England. Alongside Classic Lifts and The Escalator Company, White Lift Services supports the continued development of a broader UK lifts and escalators offering.

Existing operational leadership will remain in place, with Chris Gadsby continuing to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring continuity for employees, customers and technical service delivery.

Phil and Carole White, who founded White Lift Services in 1991, will return to the business to support the transition, ahead of their planned retirement. Complii places a strong emphasis on supporting the founders and original owners of the businesses it acquires through this next stage of their journey.

The acquisition is the latest in a number of acquisitions Complii has made across its five divisions, as the group continues to build a comprehensive, UK-wide platform of specialist building safety and compliance businesses.
