Complii (formerly Compliance Group), the integrated provider of safety and regulatory compliance services, announced the acquisition of EIAT UK (Electrical Installation and Appliance Testing UK Limited) as part of its strategy to expand its electrical safety and testing services.

The acquisition of EIAT UK, a specialist in electrical compliance services, further strengthens Complii's electrical division, operating within Complii's structure as part of CGE. Complii is a leading UK provider of integrated safety and regulatory compliance services across various divisions, including water, air, electrical and fire.

The group has a "buy-and-build" strategy, aiming to offer comprehensive compliance solutions to clients across numerous sectors, such as  hospitality and leisure, manufacturing, social housing and care homes, the public sector, construction, healthcare, pharmaceutical, education and retail.

"

The acquisition of EIAT UK is a key step in our 'buy-and-build' strategy, specifically designed to reinforce our position as a market leader in comprehensive compliance services. EIAT UK brings specialised expertise and a strong track record, which immediately enhances the capabilities of CGE. This move significantly broadens the range of high-quality electrical safety and compliance solutions we can offer to our valued clients across all sectors.

"

The addition of EIAT UK allows Complii, through CGE, to provide an even more comprehensive suite of electrical services to its clients, ensuring all work is carried out to relevant standards and regulations.

Following the acquisition, EIAT UK continues to deliver specialist services as part of CGE, Complii’s Electrical Division. These services include Fixed Wire Testing, a periodic inspection that can reveal a great deal of information about the condition of the wiring, safety systems, and any developing faults.

They also provide Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), which the Health & Safety Executive states is essential, as 25% of all reportable electrical accidents involve portable appliances. Other key services are Emergency Lighting, covering the installation and maintenance of these systems; Thermal Imaging, which has evolved into one of the most valuable diagnostic tools used for predictive maintenance by detecting hot spots; and Remedial Repairs and Maintenance, offering both planned and reactive services alongside testing to address any identified defects.

CGE's qualified, time-served electricians adapt to all built environments, serving clients from small retail or office units, doctors' surgeries, and schools to universities, multi-storey office blocks, and large industrial sites.
